Homeward Bound

As you can see Ive had a great journey, After I left L Abri I drove to lake Louise, across the Canadian Rockies, down to Montana, to Yellowstone across the mid west and to Texas. With a stop at Mt. Rushmore. Iam now in the Houston. I plan to be on the road Wed. the 6th of July with my 8 year old grandson for the last of the road trip with stops at Carlsbad caverns ,the Grand Canyon and Vegas. Its been a great trip and Im sold on traveling in the USA/Canada.Looking forward to home and time with the boy.

The gang all here, at least most of them . I just completed a wonderful 2 weeks at the community. We truly lived as a Christian family ,and I must say after some concerns about being the old guy all went very well indeed. The best of all was Getting to know this fine group of very smart young people. They were very kind in putting up with me and I believe we all made a genuine connection in Christ. The days were filled with study and and play with little work around the house and yard, including chickens and garden. The grounds are very lovely and the house was very comfortable . All told it was just what the Lord had in mind for me and I hope all of us there,and I will carry with me fond memories of my time at Labri.

Did this backwards but you get the idea Iam now on Bowen Island, after time in Victoria and Orcas Islands. The north west is getting more lovely as I travel. Canada is truly a fine country, the people are great. As of the past week Ive been staying in a Christian  fellowship Lodge/home with about 10 twenty something seekers. Im the grandpa I guess but its becoming more comfortable as the days go by and they all are a fine bunch of youngsters  ha, ha. Its really weird to accept oldness but I think I will like it.After my drive up the Coast from OR. and Wash to Victoria Canada I took a Ferry from Vancouver to this lovely place. I will be her 2 weeks mostly studying the Christian life and getting to know my place in Christ in a much more deep and hopefully profound way, so far so good. Right now I could only describe my life as filled with joy. Next Thursdays I will travel to Lake Louise, then Montana. I will post more then

OK you all want more details so here goes

I left home sweet home 15 May with my goal of traveling to Texas ,via OR. Wash. Canada and then on down Thur Montana etc. Well I'm in Victoria BC now and loving it , a great walking  city. I had a nice visit with Onay and family, then a few days with my nephew Erick. Got on the road for Anacondas OR. at the Washington border, made my way to Seattle stayed downtown and had a nice visit with my cousin Roberta. Drove to Port Angeles Wash. took the ferry to Victoria and her I am. I leave tomorrow Jun. 6  for Orcas Island to Visit my  Son Sky after which I will be on my way to a Christian fellowship on a Island {Bowen}  near Victoria city. Then its off to Lake Louise Canada. I really like being on the road its so much easier to see God from there for me. I will Post more photos and up date after I leave Bowen Island.

OFF AGAIN ON A USA / CANADA ROAD TRIP JUNE 2011

Hi all my blog followers I will post soon as I know many people out there are all a twitter to know more of my great adventures. LIFE IS GREAT
